Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) Remote Access Troubleshotting
When the SMI team faces issues with their Citrix remote gateway connection, please try the following:
Scenario 1: Global Protect VPN is not opening or failing to connect to the VPN portal.
1. Open up the Windows Task Manager and select the "Services" tab. Looks for "PanGPS"
2. Check the status, and if it is not running, please restart the services.
3. Re-connect the Global Protect VPN client.
Scenario 2: Failing to connect to the remote instance, with the Global Protect VPN connected.
1. If open, please close the Citrix remote gateway page on your browser.
2. Proceed to disconnect your VPN client, i.e Global Protect VPN
3. Re-connect to the VPN.
4. Re-open the SMI Citrix gateway page on your browser.
5. Launch the remote session.
6. If this fails, try restarting the remote computer from the Citrix gateway interface.
